Q&A With Heidi ZakHeidi Zak (left) and Ra'el Cohen, founders of ThirdLove. With so many shapes, sizes, and needs, the process of creating a flawless bra bubbled up a number of challenges, one of which was moving beyond the brick and mortar experience and developing better bra sizing and fit without ever meeting the woman in person.
Around the same time, Kira told a consultant at the company, a leadership coach who worked closely with Spector, that she wanted to meet with the executive: Almost verbatim she said ‘Dave is a deeply insecure man, make sure you pat his ego throughout your conversation and that you don't surprise him.
The company has come a long way from its original data collection system — asking women, via a Craigslist ad, to come to its San Francisco headquarters wearing their best bra and take a photo of their breasts with an app that could calculate their bust size.
SAN FRANCISCO-( BUSINESS WIRE )-ThirdLove Co-Founders and Co-CEOs, Heidi Zak and David Spector received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Award in Northern California, which recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, while also transforming our world.
Heidi Zak previously held a position in Google, and underpinned by this experience in the tech sector, and fuelled by her passion for retail and finding a bra that was a perfect fit—her research revealed that 80 percent of women wear bras that do not fit them correctly—and supported by the financial experience of her co-founder husband David Spector, ThirdLove was born in 2013.

The digitally native brand has made a name for itself as the bra business for every woman. Many American women have heard of ThirdLove , the online intimate apparel company that has aimed to change the way women buy bras.
They also wanted a superior product that was more comfortable, better fitting and offered more size options than any other lingerie Heidi Zak co-CEO ThirdLove brand. Victoria's Secret continues to dominate the market, and I don't think they have changed or seem to be changing anytime soon.
